India is blessed with entrepreneurs like Tukaram.

I was happy to meet Tukaram Sonawane along with Deepak Chavan. Tukaram is the co-founder of Krishigati and he exemplifies resilience and dedication in the journey from farmer’s son to agricultural innovator. Overcoming early hardship—losing his father young and supporting his visually impaired mother—Tukaram worked his way through school and engineering college, driven by a passion to uplift India’s small farmers. Together with his wife Sonali, Tukaram developed the Electric Bull, an affordable, axle-less electric machine for small-scale farmers, revolutionizing labor-intensive tasks like sowing, seeding, and spraying.
The Electric BUll reduces farm maintenance costs benefiting marginal farmers who cannot afford traditional machinery. India is blessed with entrepreneurs like Tukaram.
