Sh Mohammad Abdul Qadri is a very pious farmer in Bagdal taluka of Bidar district. He has been able to turn his fortune with sheer hard work and has mastered the art of water conservation in this dry belt. He is now taking record yield of Sugarcane on his farms, which is a water intensive crop. He has brought some cultivars of sugarcane from abroad including the countries like Australia and Brazil. He gets record yields of sugarcane in this dry belt which is quite a miracle. He also has preserved nearly 17 varieties of red gram. He has maintained a livestock yard with more than 800 ruminants including cows, buffaloes, goats and even horses. He has a unique robust buffalo with 4 ears and he has made almost a crore of rupees by selling semen of this buffalo. His horses are hired by movie makers for commercial films. He has done lot of innovation in horticulture crops. He has white jamun trees, mangoes with orange flavor and various varieties of mangoes. Qadri Sab is a open and large hearted soul, who is always willing to help other farmers and youngsters. For his good work in agriculture field, Quadri sab was bestowed Babu Jagjivan Ram Abhinav Kisan Puraskar by Govt of India in 2014. He has received many awards for his accomplishments in this sector in successive year and he give credits of all his achievements to the almighty Allah.
